In the year 2003, the space shuttle Columbia suffered a problem caused a catastrophic. This accident had been caused for one piece of foam. After of the Columbia disaster the NASA did an extravehicular activity infrared camera, named EVA, this camera can detect cracks and defects in space shuttles, that is why EVA is used to check no faults. 

Before launching EVA into space, the cause of the accident had to be determined.
